Hey everyone! for Esv3 Series on Azure it seems like there are two CPU configurations such as Xeon 8171M and Xeon E5-2673. Is it possible to deploy a specific CPU between these two or is the CPU assignment random?
An Azure service that is used to provision Windows and Linux virtual machines.
As far as I am aware the choice of CPU is determined by what is available at the time of provisioning, you do not have an option to pick which one you want.

I am going to use the Esv3 series but I also want to use it with Xeon 8171M CPU. I mean which exact type should I deploy to get this CPU? Can you give me a specific answer such like "E8sv3 or higher etc."? Is there a documentation about it?

You cannot choose a specific "physical" CPU, it is randomized.
