Question

Getting a new laptop.  How can I transfer the themes on the old laptop to the new laptop?

This is also how to save your Theme.

All Settings>>Personalization>>Themes

Select a Theme & select Save

Be sure to turn sync on & select Themes as mentioned in previous comment.

If you copy & paste this into a Windows address bar and press enter, it will take you to the folder where the Themes are stored.

%localappdata%\Microsoft*Windows**Themes*

or

C:\Users\*YOUR USER ACCOUNT NAME*\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes

Go here

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Personalization

or

Start Menu>>All Apps>>Personalization

Right click on a Theme you have & select

"Save Theme for Sharing"

select where to save it & transfer it to storage to use later.

Note: If you sign into your PC with Microsoft account.

You can select to sync your settings in

All Settings>>Accounts>>Sync your settings

select Theme & others.

Then when you install Windows on a new PC & sign in with M/A, within a short time, Microsoft will automatically apply those synced settings.
