Create issue list in Teams

Hi,

in classic SharePoint I was able to create an issue list by using Site Contents/Add App/Issue Tracking. I cannot find any list templates in the modern list creation dialog. How do I create an Issue Tracking in Teams? Will Microsoft Lists be a game changer?

Thanks,
John
