Hello, I wanted to open a log case but I could find how.

I want to ask about Skype Professional, It seems like its included in my proffesional bussines package from outlook.

When I installed it, I don't find any option of making a call or just do something else. Its just almost completely blank.

the Skype for business was replaced for microsoft teams? Thats why I cant use it? the normal Skype will be replaced too?

What is the price of the Microsoft teams app? or is it included in my plan?

Thank you.

    Hi IT-VTI,

Could you provide us a screenshot to know your situation clearly?
Skype for Business client and Microsoft Teams are two different apps. They are both in use.

I guess the Microsoft 365 for Business plan you purchased does not include Skype for Business.

If you have Office 2007, 2010, or 2013, you can safely install and use Skype for Business 2016. It won't overwrite your existing Office programs unless you are installing Microsoft 365 proplus.

    Hi IT-VTI,

I found that you installed Skype for Business basic.

This kind of client has limitation of features. The features below are available using the Full client and are not available with the Basic client:
    • Manage team call settings
    • Manage delegates
    • Handle another's calls if configured as a delegate
    • Manage a high volume of calls
    • Initiate a call to a Response Group
    • Call park
    • Change greeting
    • Group call pickup
    • Missed call notification emails are not generated when a user status is UM disabled and they are using a legacy Outlook Client (2013 or earlier)

For more details, you can refer to this link:
