Team Meeting Recording Stopped after two people tried recording the same meeting

Question

During a meeting of 10 people the meeting organizer started the meeting , a meeting attendee started a recording of the meeting. About a minute later the meeting organizer tried starting their own recording, had some issues then moved own. At the end of a 40 minute meeting the meeting organizer went to stop the recording and accidentally stopped the meeting. Afterwards the meeting attendee that had started a recording had no indication that their recording was saved but after about 20 minutes a 1 minute video clip popped up on the teams meeting chat and the meeting organizers recording was non existent.

What I'm trying to understand is can two people record a meeting at the same time, or does one persons recording get kicked off? Also at the end of a meeting if you don't stop a recording does it automatically save and get uploaded to the teams meeting chat? Also is there a limit to how many recordings you can have during a single meeting?

Hi,

You can't make multiple recordings of the same meeting at the same time. If one person starts recording a meeting, that recording will be stored on the cloud and available to all participants.

Agree with Leon, you can only start one recording in a Teams meeting at the same time.
