Performance Issues with Teams App

Hi!

We have several problems with the Teams App.

The Windows App shows a lot of performance issues.

Video and screen sharing is lagging. 

If we use the web app, everything is fine!

Device:

WIN10 Pro

Intel i5-8.... series

8GB RAM

SSD

Does anyone have an idea, what could be the reason for this?

    I'm Nik, an independent advisor here to assist you with this.

    Please check a few things and see if that improve the Teams performance:

    Enabling GPU hardware acceleration:

    1. Go to Teams --> Click on your profile photo --> Settings
    2. Enable “Disable GPU hardware acceleration“.
    3. Also, Disable “Register Teams as the chat app for Office…“.
    4. Right-click on teams in the taskbar and click quite
    5. Restart Teams again and check if it works

    If you still see the issue, then please run Microsoft 365 connectivity test at your end and see if you find any specific network issue:

    Please check with your IT administrator and understand if there are many more users with a similar issue. It will help us understand if this issue has impacted your organisation tenant.
