screen sharing problems

Good evening,

I have been able to screen share until today. All that pops up is the purple circle like its trying to connect. I have restarted the app, deleted the app completely from my device, and tested my internet connection. Everything I have tried has not worked and it continues to give me a thinking screen when trying to allow me to share a screen.

Any help would be welcome,

    Thanks for your follow up message Andrea. I see that it is working on web. To further check the issue, can you please check your security permissions? Follow below steps.

    1. Click the Apple menu.
    2. Then, go to System Preferences > Click Security & Privacy > Privacy tab.
    3. Click Screen Recording.
    4. Click the lock icon to make changes. If required, enter your admin password.
    5. Finally, click the checkbox next to Microsoft Teams.
    6. A notification window will ask you to restart it. Agree.
    7. Then, try again and see if the issue persists.

    I just checked and I am able to share my screen within the web teams. Still not able to in the app. I tried following the instructions in the article and I can not locate the meetings admin.

    I am using a MacBook Pro and the latest OS that is out. It was just installed last week. I have tried to go in through the web but then it prompts me to only do the app. Is there a way to by pass that screen?

    What device and OS are you using when you encountered this issue? Can you please try to log in via Teams web to check if the same issue exist?

    I would also recommend to check your meeting policies to verify if screen sharing is configured properly. You may refer to this article for more information.
