Hi,

I have issues exporting my Outlook folders into an olm file and some of the advice found in thsi forum suggested I rebuild Outlook Database. I launched Outlook holding down the option key, but the Microsoft Database Utility did not launch and I haven't found it even manually (Microsoft Database Utility, see: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/rebuild-the-office-database-c21643be-0f0d-4997-9ec1-8044080054b0).

Thanks for any support.

Hi Chawki,

Thanks for your post. I noticed that you post your query under Outlook for Mac 2016, so you are using Outlook for Mac 2016, right? For Outlook for Mac 2016, we are unable to rebuild the data base manually. Because it will rebuild the data base automatically if it is needed. That's why the Microsoft Database Utility doesn't launch.

For the exporting Outlook items issue, please refer to the following article to make sure that all the steps are all right.

If all the steps are right and the issue persists, please contact the dedicated support channel for Outlook for Mac for further assistance. You can just click Help> Contact supportto access the experts for Outlook for Mac. For your reference.

    Thanks Coldwell,

I have been able to force the database rebuild by deleting the Outloo.sqlite file from ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/Outlook/Outlook 15 Profiles/Main Profile/Data

I will contact the support for the Export issue

    Thanks
