I'm being inundated with SPAM emails mentioning ******@evri.com as a sender. I don't understand why it isn't automatically redirecting to my junk folder instead of inbox - no matter how many times I report them as junk/phishing.

Thank you for providing the screenshots. I understand that you are running local rules in Classic Outlook to filter spam emails, which might involve some actions not supported by the web version.

Regarding your issue, it is more advisable to use web-based rules and spam options to resolve it. This is because locally run rules depend on your Classic Outlook application being active, whereas web-based rules are processed automatically on the server.

Of course, if you are more satisfied with the rules currently running, you can choose to continue using them.

The email address is hidden in the sender field but can be found in the email header.

    • If you are using Classic Outlook, create a rule with the condition "with specific words in the message header" and add ******@EVRI.COM as the keyword.
    • If you are using Outlook Web, create a rule with the condition "Message header includes" and add ******@EVRI.COM as the keyword.

I noticed that the information you provided contains your personal privacy information. I have hidden it for you.

What version of Outlook are you using? What version of Outlook do I have? - Microsoft Support

It's strange that the Outlook Web rules are overriding your Outlook desktop rules. If possible, could you provide screenshots?

Check if the email address you mentioned appears in the email header.

    You are welcome.

Is your email account a Microsoft account? If so, most rules in Outlook Web and the Outlook desktop application should be synchronized.

How is the spam filtering? You can check the email headers and set filtering conditions based on the information in the headers. View internet message headers in Outlook - Microsoft Support

    Hello Gummo Marx,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

I understand that you are being harassed by a large number of spam emails.

If you are experiencing issues with an email account using a Microsoft domain, I recommend going to Outlook Web to block them.

    • For general spam emails, you can right-click on the email, find the Block button, and select Block sender.
    • For some fake sender addresses, blocking may not work. You can also go to Settings by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner. Then go to Mail > Rules. In Rules, set the filtering conditions you need to automate the handling of spam emails.

If you are using an email account with a non-Microsoft domain, it is recommended to block spam emails from its webmail. This is because the web-based spam filtering will always run on the server and does not rely on the application running.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any further updates, thanks.
