a couple of days later, when i went to open it again, it gave me the name of the document but gave me an error code 1007.

i now have two documents, uploaded on one drive that I cannot access.

Error code 1007 could be from an error in a visual basic macro. Does this document have macros?

    Hi isabellesoller,

Thank you for posting your question in this community. Based on your description, you find that two Word documents in your OneDrive are opened with above error when you tried to access they a few day later.

First of all, may I confirm the following information and test results at your convenience?

1: Where did you receive this error? Did you receive this error when you open it in your Word for Mac app?

2: If you open the Word document in Word for Mac and receive this error, have you tried to open the document in Word for the web app in web browser? Can the document be opened correctly?

3: Does this scenario occur with all your Office files in your OneDrive or these two particular Word document? You can also try to create a new document for testing in OneDrive and check whether the same scenario will occur.

    Best regards,

    Dihao
