Microsoft Word Theme

Question

How can I search up different themes on Microsoft Word?

I need to apply the Ion theme to my document, but when I click on the "designer" tool it only shows me themes without their names. I tried looking at Microsoft's support videos, but I think I have a newer version of the application since my word toolbar does not look the same as the one shown in the video. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

The screen shot in your first post shows that you're using Word Online in your browser. The theme you need, and the Design ribbon shown in Doug's post, are only in the desktop version of Word.

In Word Online, click the Editing button to the right of the Help menu item, and then click Open in Desktop App (this will work only if you have the desktop version installed). When the document opens in the desktop, you can apply the Ion theme. If you then want to go back to working in Word Online (although I'm not sure why you may want to), save the document on OneDrive, and the theme's formatting will be there.

You need to be using the Desktop Application. NOT Word OnLine.

Are you clicking on the Themes drop-down at the left-hand end of the Design tab of the ribbon?

If you see the following display, without the Theme names, if you hover over a theme, does its name appear?

I do not have the design tab on my ribbon, I only have the designer button on the home tab.
