Hi there.. I am trying to look for information with regards to SharePoint 2013 integration to Outlook 2016.
Particularly, if there are known or reported performance issues with Outlook if integrated to SharePoint.

I've been googling but have not found anything related to this topic.

Anyone experienced that Outlook is being unresponsive or freezes caused by SharePoint?

Thank you.

I did some research about using SharePoint 2013 integration to Outlook 2016 and found that it is achieveable from the perspective of the client.

Tried to search information related to performance issues with Outlook if integrated to SharePoint, but have not found any useful information so far. If you meet issues about that, please feel free to post here.

Thank you for your response. I have not found anything online that points to SharePoint causing performance issue when integrated to Outlook. Maybe there is none?

I am looking into the possibility that SharePoint Calendar that is integrated to Outlook might be the culprit. But again, nothing online can be found about this so maybe it's not SharePoint after all but the other add-ons.

If you encountered Outlook freeze issue, to confirm if your issue is related to your SharePoint, it is suggested to run Outlook alone and disable add-ins related to SharePoint to see if the issue has any difference.
Besides, from the Outlook client's point of view, you could follow the suggestions in this article to troubleshot.
