Teams: You do not have access to home

Downloaded Teams for mac desktop and tried logging on with my old microsoft account. I get the error note, "you do not have access to home, contact admin"

    Hi!

    According to your description, it looks like that you’re lack of proper permission to access Teams in your organization. For this situation, we recommend you contact with your IT admin and let him check the Teams access for you.

    For IT admin reference:

    1. Go to Microsoft 365 admin center using the admin credential,
    2. Select Users > Active users, click the name of problematic user, click License and Apps tab, select Microsoft Teams check-box in Apps section.
