Printing issues with spreadsheets using MacBook Pro and Epson WF-3620 printer.

Hello,

I recently purchased a new MacBook Pro laptop and I am having issues getting a clear printer copy of my spreadsheet. I have spent the day troubleshooting my Epson WF-3620 print to align and clear the ink cartridges. I tried printing a PDF file and it seemed to print with no problem. However, the spreadsheet is coming out blurry. I am trying to determine if there is a setting I need to change or if my printer is at fault.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Since you've provided no Version info that's the place to start;

  • Confirm that your edition of macOS is fully updated
  • Confirm that Office is fully updated
  • Check the Epson support site to see if there is a driver and/or firmware update for your specific model

    Hello, Bob.

Thanks to you and Cliff for your recommendations regarding the print quality of my Epson WF-3620 Printer.

I have followed up on your recommendations and have come to the conclusion that there is a printer issue rather than a software issue connecting to Excel or Office in general.

I have decided to invest in a new printer as repairing will be more costly than replacing it.

    Thanks again for your advice.

    Regards,

    D Berk

    Dear D,

As Bob said, please first check whether you are using the latest version number of the Mac operating system and the Excel for Mac application. If no, update them first and then restart the Mac to do a test to see the result.

If you do a test with another sheet file, what's the result?

If it is convenient, I'd like you to provide the version number of the Mac operating system and the Excel for Mac application you are using now for our reference.

As the issue may be a printer related issue , you can check whether it is a driver or firmware update issue as Bob suggested as well.

Welcome to share any updates at your convenience.

Thanks for your effort and time!

    Sincerely
