Windows server essentials 2022

Hello.
We are interested in buying a windows server 2022 essentials license.
This OEM license can create problems for us when changing the location of the virtual machine, between our different hypervisors, located on different servers.
We have that doubt since they will be servers with different characteristics.

    Additionally,

    As per my experience licensing of OS in VM is separate thing.
    If you are going to same version of Hyper-V in different Hardware then there should be not a problem moving of VMs as its just Export and Import task.

    May be difficult to get hold of, looks to be an OEM-only product

    You are correct, this will create issues regarding allocating the VM in different hardwares. I would recommend going with Standard license.
