You may have a missing or corrupted file in Windows. Try opening a command prompt as an administrator and running sfc /scannow (System File Checker) to restore or repair missing or corrupted files.

Hello. Very likely this is happening because of a conflict between PowerPoint and the Mesa 3D graphics drivers (specifically the d3d12 video encoding component). When PowerPoint tries to use your graphics hardware to render the video, the driver hits a logical "dead end" and crashes.

    Try this:

    1. Open PowerPoint and go to File > Options.
    2. Select the Advanced tab on the left.
    3. Scroll down to the Display section.
    4. Check the box for "Disable hardware graphics acceleration".
    5. Check the box for "Disable Slide Show hardware graphics acceleration" if it is available.
    6. Click OK, restart PowerPoint, and try the export again.
