I'm trying to add a video card. I get the memory integrity alert. Can I turn that off, get the card working, and then turn it back on without any risk of something not working?

    Hello,

Memory Integrity works only when virtualization support is enabled in the UEFI settings.

There is no problem with installing a graphics card and then installing the latest graphics driver.

Please make sure the Memory Integrity toggle switch is turned ON when installing it.

If a warning is displayed, it indicates that an incompatible device driver is already installed.

Please contact the manufacturer of the device in question and check whether the latest driver is available.

Alternatively, you can identify the incompatible driver.

Click the [○○○.sys] file and note the corresponding [oem○○○.inf] file.

Open an elevated Command Prompt and run the following command to remove the problematic driver package:

    pnputil.exe /d oem○○○.inf

You can temporarily disable memory integrity to install your video card, and then re-enable it afterward. However, keep in mind that disabling memory integrity may expose your system to potential risks, especially if you do not re-enable it afterward. After turning it off, make sure to test the functionality of your video card and ensure that everything works correctly before re-enabling memory integrity.

When you turn memory integrity back on, if there are any compatibility issues with drivers or software, you may encounter alerts or failures. It's advisable to check for updates for your drivers and ensure they are compatible with memory integrity before re-enabling it.
