External user access to Teams issue

Having difficulty with one external user accessing our Teams. They have contacted their IT department and they say there isn't anything to prevent them accessing the Team. I'm using the correct email address and they receive email updates from the Team, but they cannot access the Team itself. When they select the link automatically sent when I added them it just hangs. They say they can access another external Teams OK. The only difference I can see with this user is that they already existed as an external user in our 0365 tenancy having been added to a SharePoint team site a while back. Also, when I go to Manage Team and hover the mouse pointer over their name it says "Guest Migrated by Sharepoint" above their email address. They are the only user that has this text. Any ideas?

You can always go the easy route of removing the existing guest user object and re-inviting him :)

    Hi!
Does this issue persist only on specific guest users?

Are there any error messages when the click the inviting links in the email?

We recommend you check if your have turned on Microsoft 365 Groups guest settings in the Microsoft 365 admin center. For more details about guest access checklist in teams, you can refer to:
