Hello. I am currently signed in into a Local Account and want to sign in with my Microsoft account. I'm able to sign in until the point where it says i need to "Sign into this computer using your Microsoft account
Next time you sign into this computer, use your Microsoft account password or Windows Hello, if you've set it up.
We'll need your current Windows password one last time."
When I enter the password, it says "Oops, something went wrong Whatever happened, it was probably our fault. Please try again" When I click next, it just exits me out of that tab. I know this password is correct because every time I enter a different password it just says that the password is incorrect. The right password however doesn't work either and I'd appreciate your help.

    Hi,

    I have some questions:

    1) Does this computer is a domain member or is it joined to Azure AD or is it your personal computer with local account only?
    2) What is a version and a build of your Windows operating system?
    3) Does it possible if on your computer exist any specific firewall rulles which can block traffic to specific Microsoft sites?
    4) Have you tried logon to your computer using MSA account after turning off a firewall and an antyvirus on your computer?

    Regards,
    Michal

I was having the same issue but it appears i've been able to fix this!

Settings -> Accounts -> Your Info

Under the "Account settings" section, click on whatever the link option is there, I think during the issue mine said something different but now shows the "Sign in with a local account instead", so basically you are switching the account back to a local account and then re-adding the Microsoft account, took less than 3 mins for me and it's now back up and normal!

    Hope this helps someone.
