Hi experts good pm..

seeking for your advise and recommendation regarding on my issue.

we have SCOM 2016 that we use to monitor our servers and provide us alert notification on any alert.

However this scom version is still using tls 1.0. may we kindly ask how can we update this version that can support the tls 1.2

due to we have to comply to our PCI compliances for the security vulnerability created.

i have tried the recommendation on the microsoft documentation link is below.

Implement TLS 1.2 for Operations Manager | Microsoft Learn

but the result is once i have completed the needed requirements. enable tls 1.2 and disable tls 1.0

scom is no longer sending report / alert notification.

would like to kindly ask for your assistance what would be the best way to do this.

and making sure all is still working after.

appreciate your kind assistance on this. tried to work on this almost 2 weeks however still get stuck due to notification and alerts are not working once i enable tls 1.2

thanks in advance for your help

    Hi

Kevin Holman provides the steps here and gives some troubleshooting options:

    https://kevinholman.com/2018/05/06/implementing-tls-1-2-enforcement-with-scom/

I'm not sure if that is the link you tried as the link isn't working in your original post.

    Cheers
