Hi there,

so recently I got a new laptop and tried to install Office through an email address, my school gave me access. If I try to login in with this address the term "@schoolname.city does not exist is displayed". I have another acc but it was really hard for me to find a download link without having a special code. Nevertheless I had microsoft office on my laptop. It worked for 2 days and when I opened Word again, the message: "Many functions are diabled, please register." After deinstalling and reinstalling I have now Office on my taskbar, but not as a programm. When I login now from any mail adress, Word is always opened in Onedrive although I don't want to.

So does anyone have the right download link, or atleast a way to fix this? I registered on my PC three years ago and everything works just fine.

Help would be really appreciated. Thanks

Best thing is to contact your School admin for office.
As per your description, your school office version may be O365.

You should contact your school's IT department for the problem.

Your school must have purchased an Office license for the entire institution through Microsoft's Volume Licensing program to participate. Here's how to check:

Head to the Office 365 Education site and click the "Find out if you're eligible" button.
    Enter your school email address.
Microsoft will send you an email with sign up instructions if you're eligible for Office 365.
If not, you'll get a message right away letting you know that Office 365 Education isn't available for your school.
