Hi folks,

Anyone here knows if it's possible to use PRTG or SCOM to monitor AVS instead of Azure Monitor?

    Hi,

    From SCOM's perspective, as long as the client and server networks can reach each other over VPN or SCOM on cloud. They can be managed through Azure MP.

    @Bechir Gharbi

    I am not familiar with PRTG or SCOM. However, virtual machines within Azure VMware Solution are treated the same as on-premises VMware VMs by default. You can continue using existing VM-level monitoring within AVS via existing agents.
    So, if these monitoring services do support VMware they should be compatible. I recommend checking with them to verify.

    Hope this helps! Let me know if you still have questions and I will do my best to assist.

    Hello,

    A little update.

    PRTG does not support currently AVS because of some limitations and there is no sensors for this case (VMware Sensors doesn't work)
