Bing maps unable to find public transport routes

I've been using Bing maps (API) to calculate driving and public transport journeys in the UK from various start and end points for 12+ months and increasingly certain routes are unable to be found. It seems like there are no bus timetables for areas of Cardiff and Doncaster (and possibly others), so even though a journey starts close to a bus stop, no route will be found involving buses when selecting public transport (transit) mode of transport.

If you look at Suffolk House bus stop in Cardiff (51.485489, -3.205977), there's no timetable information available so journeys to other areas of Cardiff from here do not find bus routes. I imagine this is more widespread but at the moment I have specific examples in Doncaster too, does anyone know why they're missing or if there are plans to get up to date timetables?

    Hi Matt,

If you happen to know the Transit provider, you can have them contact us and provide their data feed as per https://www.bing.com/maps/transitcontentproviders. Otherwise the best option is when searching for the transit route on Bing.com/maps, hit the feedback button and provide the details of the expected route and start and end points. If you have it, a URL to the transit provider would also help then press "Submit". This goes directly into the feedback database for maps to be handled directly by the Maps team.

    Sincerely,

    IoTGirl
