PowerShell incomplete list of Azure Alert Rules returned

Having logged into Azure from PowerShell, when I try to retrieve Alert Rules using "az monitor metrics alert list" I only get a partial list of rules returned, specifically the one of Signal Type "Metrics". How do I get alert rules of type Log Search and others?

I ask because the cmd shared above "az monitor metrics alert list" is for Azure CLI. If you are trying to get a list of Alert Rules via:
Azure CLI, try:
az monitor alert list --resource-group MyResourceGroupAzure PowerShell try:
Get-AzAlertRule -ResourceGroup "MyResourceGroup" -

2020-10-23T07:16:48.537+00:00 Hi @olufemia-MSFT . Thanks for responding. We are using PowerShell, however both commands return an empty list, despite there being multiple rules defined from the Azure UI.

2020-10-23T20:47:38.023+00:00 Interesting, can you share the cmd you used and the exact error thrown? Also, are you an Admin on this subscription? this could also be a permissions issue? We may need deeper investigation here.

No error is thrown, rather tn empty list is returned.

2020-11-03T15:43:31.54+00:00 thanks for the update, @Mark Dowd . Empty list typically means there was no data to fetch that meets the query criteria. Also not sure i got an answer to my question if you are an Admin on this subscription.
