I have an azure vm that has an unallocated disk I want to Reduce the disk size

There is no direct way of reducing the Azure Data disk size as there is a chance of losing the data.

Thank you for your response. Yes, I believe this will be helpful for data disks. However, if the disk is associated with the OS, we may not be able to perform the same action.
