Hello all,

I have an SQL Server hosted in Azure VM I'm trying to build a connection (linked service) between her and the data factory.

Knowing that both are within the same virtual network and that the data factory is managed through the virtual network through a private endpoint on the same network

I gave the networking team the private IP for the private endpoint of the data factory and port which is 1433 and the Connection string which I tried to access via the data factory.

But they told me the data factory didn't send any traffic to the network

How can I solve this problem?

Thank you in advance

It gave me this error massage:

'Cannot connect to SQL Database. Please contact SQL server team for further support. Server: 'XYZ', Database: 'XYZ', User: 'XYZ'. Check the linked service configuration is correct, and make sure the SQL Database firewall allows the integration runtime to access.
