HI,

I have a Windows 11 Host running Hyper-V to an XP Guest.

I have a COM3 physical port that I want to pass through to the Guest.

I have set the Hyper-V Manager - Virtual Machine image, Settings, Hardware, COM 1, Select Named Pipe, Pip Name: COM3; yields Named pipe path: \.\pipe\COM3

On the Guest machine, the application opens COM1 but there is no indication the physical COM port is activated.

I don't understand how the named pipe gets connected to the physical COM port,......

Please advise
