Hi there,

For school I have to set up a virtual test-network using Hyper-V and Windows Server 2022.

I downloaded the free Trial Version .ISO file hereUser's image

Next I've set up the virtual machine and selected install from bootable CD > Image File (iso) > selected the file downloaded from the link above.

Yet when I press > Connect > Start I get the following message.

It doesn't seem to find or recognize the ISO file I guess? How do I fix this so that the installation of the OS does start?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi Axel,

The VM failed to boot from the ISO. It seems that you have downloaded the wrong ISO file. Please download the image from the evaluation center and try again.

    Hi @Axel ,

please verify the boot order of the VM is set on DVD (ISO file) first.

The ISO file is stored locally on the Hyper-V server? If not, please copy the ISO file locally and try again.
