How to migrate audio analyzer preset usage in China regions media service to Azure AI Services？

https://docs.azure.cn/en-us/media-services/latest/azure-media-services-retirementThe Document said Need to be migrated to AI service, but there seems to be no specific steps, I refer to this document, https://github.com/Azure/azure-media-migration/tree/main/migrationTool However, I can not log in to China azure account with the command：”AMSMigrate.exe assets -s <subscription> -g <resource group of media service> -n <media service account name> -o <output storage account uri> “, It redirects to the global account every time.

How to operate the migration? Thanks very much.

@Gallatin 21V , Apologies for the delayed response from over the weekend.The replacement of Azure Media Service (AMS) Audio and Video analyzer presets is to use Azure Video Indexer, unfortunately it is not available in China region.

From what I comprehend about your scenario, Azure AI services offer an array of features and capabilities. Depending on your specific needs, you may have to tailor or develop the workflow, as there isn't a pre-existing solution within Azure AI services that entirely substitutes the presets for Audio/Video analysis:

Just to highlight, each business needs could benefit from different AI services, for example, if you only want to get video transcript, you may build a workflow that uses Speechto text service, or if you want wider analysis like sentiment and opinion mining, summarization etc, then you combine multiple AI services in one solution (as outlined in the above starting point).

 

As for AMSMigrate tool it helps in the simple Video On Demand scenario and it will not help in Audio\Video analyzer requirement, it aims only to convert the encoded assets that served by AMS to a streamable format to be streamed directly from Azure storage without any service.
