    Hello Rufaid P,

Thank you for raising your query in the Microsoft Q&A Community.

I understand that you would like to know why your friend free trial subscription was denied and If you will be debited going forward.

Please be informed that you can only obtain a free trial subscription when you link a card that haven't already been used to get a free trail subscription. Hence, the reason your friend wasn't able to get one.

Secondly, you wont be debited as there is no need for it. Since you have also linked this debit card with your Azure Account, you will be debited if you upgrade your subscription to a pay-as-you-go subscription manually but be rest assured it wont automatically be upgraded. As regards, the 1 rupee, this is just to test if you have provided a working debit card.

You can get more information by following this link which list all the Frequently asked questions about Azure Free Account.

Let me know if further clarification is required.
