Not able to create an azure function

Hello, I wanted to create an azure function, but i keep getting BadGateway for app service plan, tried creating a plan as well but of no avail.

To add more detail, as I'm under free trial, I went to azure functions and created one under consumption hosting plan, used Nodejs as my runtime stack and then proceeded to review+create section. After that when it went under deployment, i keep getting BadGateway error, attaching a reference below
