Is it possible to customize the Outlook 2021 Appointment and Meeting Templates for SharePoint mail-in capability

Is it possible to customize the Outlook 2021 "New Appointment" and "New Meeting" templates to include additional fields that will correspond to specified columns in a SharePoint 2016 calendar? The goal is for users to add these fields in Outlook and have them populate the corresponding columns in SharePoint when they email the appointment or meeting to the calendar. The "Title" and "Location" fields match between both platforms, but I need to add custom fields. I've tried creating a custom content type on SharePoint and using a SharePoint Designer 2010 workflow, but these options aren't ideal. I've also tried modifying the Color Categories but this didn't work. Are there any resources or tips available to help me achieve this customization? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, this requirement is quite complex and there is no good way to achieve it. For this situation, here are some suggestions:

1. Use third-party tools.
2. Feedback. Microsoft values its customer feedback and a lot of features have been developed and suggested by customers via feedback. Your feedback is also very important.
3. Go to Partner Center for more personalized help.
