System error 53 means simply that the network path was not found.

Start by making sure that the server name is resolvable to an IP address. Next, check authentication and authorization. More at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-server/networking/troubleshoot-tcp-ip-communication-guidance

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

System error 53 occurs when the network path to a shared resource cannot be found. Try the following steps to resolve this issue:

    1. Check connectivity using ping: If there is a problem accessing files and folders, then you first need to check the logical connectivity using the ping command.
    2. Make sure the file and folder sharing option is enabled: If files and folders are not enabled, then you cannot access network resources. If you are facing the above error, make sure that the file and folder sharing option is enabled.
    3. Temporarily disable your security software: If you get a ping result and confirm that the file sharing option is enabled, then you can remove this error by disabling your antivirus and firewall.
    4. Check safe mode with networking: When you start your computer in safe mode with networking, it starts with network drivers and a minimal set of services. In this way we can check if any third-party application is causing the issue.
    5. Restart TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper Service: Restarting the service will clear the network glitches and resolve the issue. To do the same, open Services from the Start menu, look for TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper Service, right-click, and select Restart.

I hope the information above is helpful.
