I have an ask form customer where they want to have English question and Chinese Answer.
What is the impact in case I use English QnA service and add Chinese text in answer?

@Saurav Pant This is not possible in the current scenario. A QnAMaker resource cannot respond in a different language other than the language that was entered. Please check our language support page. The guidance to support such a scenario is to use a translator resource to convert the source language to the required language and then pose the question to QnAMaker KB to receive a response in the desired language but that would involve having KB's in multiple languages and creating a translator resource to translate the source text to the language of the QnAMaker KB.

@Saurav Pant Is your KB configured with english language and KB added with Chinese questions and answers? In this scenario you would get a response in the language that was used in your KB file.
With respect to your QnAMaker resource it uses the the search resource in the backend to index the queries so essentially this resource is querying the KB and providing a response based on the question and you would be billed accordingly. You can even try similar queries in the backend on your search resource form the search explorer in Azure portal and check if your search resource is behaving as expected.
