SharePoint views all showing as tabs on a list

As of yesterday all of my SharePoint lists that have views have switched to showing the list of views across the top of the page. In my searching for an answer I believe this is because of some global change that Microsoft is pushing out. I have not been able to determine if there is a fix for this awful change. I would love to just remove this row in its entirety. It is a site breaking "update" for my complex lists that I use as ticketing systems.

Is there anyway to remove this row or get back the View Options dropdown?

Thank you.

It's not just the tabs. The filters / groupings are off... count for one will show 4... but more are showing in the group. Worse, the EXTRA items... don't belong in that group!

Recently rolled out MAJOR project. People are questioning use of Sharepoint Lists...

It's ridiculous to rollout such a visually impactful change like this with no method to restore the previous view.

We use SharePoint as our intranet and so many pages now need re-formatting as this change makes lists look like ugly online spreadsheets now.

Please can we have the ability to switch back to the previous view?

I'm sorry for the inconvenience of new lists user experience to you. Until now, there is no option to return back to previous lists user experience.

Meanwhile, thank you for your feedback and suggestion. We appreciate your input, and we are always looking for ways to improve SharePoint.

To more conveniently switch between the new and old lists user experience, I recommend you open a service request with Microsoft or give suggestion in the feedback portal. Many features of current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future.

We have in lots of our SharePoint Online lists hyperlink fields, which we formatted via JSON, so that the end user sees an image, which he or she can click to open the hyperlink.

Now in the new list format, appearently something like integration of MS Lists into SharePoint Online Lists, a click to such an image only activates the actual row as "selected record" (like each other click on each other column in this record does), but does NOT open the hyperlink behind the image.

Please, Microsoft, do a rollback or offer us administrators a possibility to display the SPO list as SPO list as before.

Did someone tested this before the rollout? I don't think so. 3/4 of my lists look like the users' above and 1/4 look in the old way. the content is zoomed in and the text fields show all of the content instead of the used "see more". Not to mention that the forms I had painstakingly created to edit the lists now have reverted to something which I cannot even change.

    Revert, revert, revert.
