Stop Calendar Delegate from being included in meetings

We have 2 users that are editors (Delegates) on 3 users calendars. when the users receive calendar invites the Delegates are unable to see who has received the invitation and they only see themselves as the required users. even though they are the only people in the meeting not invited

Here is there permissions through Powershell are

AccessRights: Editor - Sharingpermissionsflags: Delegate

When Sharingpermissionsflags: Delegate gets removed they stop being included in the meetings, but they also stop receiving the emails.

Is there a middle ground for receiving the emails notification on behalf but also not being included in the delegates calendar?

Based on your description, I have some information that needs to be confirmed and clarified to you.

Do you set editors (delegates) in the following ways?

If yes, then editors (delegates)can clearly see who accepted the invitation.

As shown in the image below, the dotted area indicates that it is not accepted, and the solid area indicates that it has been accepted.

My test is different from your description “Delegates are unable to see who has received the invitation”, please correct me if I do not understand it correctly.

Thank you for looking into this. unfortunately i may have described it incorrectly. what i meant it

User A has Calendar, User B is Editor (Delegate)

User A gets invited to appointment - Via Email

User B sees this invite Via Email as if they are invited (not user A is invited do you want to accept for them)

From your description, can I understand that you want to find a User C who can receive invitation emails from User A, and who is not yet a delegate of User A and cannot view User A's calendar?

If you want to do the above things, there may not be a middle ground that will meet your needs. Because once you are able to receive invitation emails from other users (through the delegated method), you will always see that user's calendar.

No i want User B to stop seeing invites to them and see the invites to User A actually for User A.

If someone invites User A, User B cant see that the invite is for User A

Glad to hear from you. I try to re-understand your needs.

User B, as a delegator for multiple users, doesn't want to see invitation emails from anyone other than user A. This means that users do not need to send the same meeting invitation to the delegator when they receive the invitation email. If you want to solve this problem, you can select the delegate in Delegate Accsee, click Permission, and uncheck this option.

If someone invites User A, User B cant see that the invite is for User A

In fact, in the invitation email, there will be a prompt telling the delegator which user the invitation email is from. Once the delegator receives the meeting invitation, the invitation email may be automatically deleted.

After my testing, there may not be a built-in command in Power Shell that will implement your needs. You may need to ask the end user to do this on the client side.

If you have a better idea, you can also share it with us.
