Unable to delete files in One Drive

Hi!

I am unable to receive or send emails on my personal outlook account due to being over my storage limit. After lots of investigating, it looks like my One Drive has randomly been logged in and synced, even though I do not use One Drive. I have managed to delete A LOT of things, however there is still some showing in my files on One Drive that I am unable to delete. I have uninstalled One Drive on my laptop and there was no files showing in there before I deleted it. I have also tried to ‘Unfreeze’ my account to see if I am able to delete them then, but it won’t let me unfreeze and it just says ‘something went wrong’. When I try to delete the files individually it comes up with ‘The resource could not be found’. I have searched hundreds of forums online but none of them have helped me and I am now tearing my hair out to find a fix!

Any help or advice is appreciated!

Thanks in advance :)

    Hi @Jaz Wills

    Welcome to our forum!

What is your account type? Outlook.com or other type.

Are there any error messages when sending and receiving emails?

If your cloud storage is full, you'll need to either reduce the amount or size of the files you do have or buy more storage. Learn how to delete files to reduce your storage.

In addition, based on my research, the recent inability to send and receive emails can be caused by a temporary error in the background.

    Issue ID MO805755.

The engineering team is currently working on a restoration. Please be patient and wait for the next update. Also, regarding this issue, you can contact your administrator to follow up on the latest updates in the Microsoft 365 admin center.

Thank you for your understanding and patience!
