Hi,

Good morning. We are on SharePoint 2019 and most of our content/ documents reside in document libraries within our SharePoint environment.

We have versioning enabled in our document libraries and I am also a Site Owner.

Issue: When I try to re-upload/replace a document I get the error "1 item wasn't uploaded", just to be sure I checked the following

  1. If the item is Checked-out by me or by anyone else? - No, it was not.
  2. Tried to delete the document and then re-upload/replace the document - even then the replace won't work.
  3. Checked the logs and I found this error message "Write trace failed for type Microsoft.SharePoint.Administration.SPTaskUsageEntry with errorCode 8"

The servers are at the latest patches. Please can I get some insight and guidance on this.

Thanks and regards

Vignesh

June 2024 update for SharePoint Server 2019 is language independent, you have to install the most recent language dependent fix KB 5002538 from April 2024 CU at the same time.

KB 5002538 from April 2024 CU:
