Getting "Something went wrong. Please try again." error on clicking adaptive card of Teams bot

We have created a Teams bot that sends a welcome message upon installation. This message includes a "Configure" button.
Immediately clicking the "Configure" button after bot installation results in an error message saying "Something went wrong." This issue can be resolved by hard-refreshing the browser. I would like to confirm whether this is an issue with Teams custom apps?
However, if I wait a few seconds after bot installation before clicking the "Configure" button, the Teams app works as expected.
