Hello, I want to setup win2012r2. Is there any method? I know that win2012 support has been discontinued, but other operating systems consume a lot of processor and ram and 4cpu 16 ram causes programs to crash on the server. There is no such situation in win2012, so I want to setup win2012. I'm talking about setting up a virtual win2012r2 server in Azure.

Windows Server 2012 R2 is no longer officially supported by Microsoft.

If you have a valid Windows Server 2012 R2 license then you can make an installation media.

1] Create a bootable USB drive with the Windows Server 2012 R2 ISO. You may try Rufus for this.

2] Once done, boot from the bootable installation media.

3] Follow on-screen instructions.

If you have, you can indeed download and install Windows server 2012R2 and activate it,

If you have purchased an ESU for Server 2012R2, you can receive updates from Microsoft as normal, and Microsoft will still support Server 2012R2 until Oct 13, 2026.

Without ESU, Microsoft no longer provides support, including the latest updates, which make your operating system insecure.
