Hello,

Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF): How to find and highlight duplicate phrases?

BACKGROUND: I have made several attempts from several support perspectives to find and highlight duplicated phrases in a word document. because I preform training of which I use a script for the presentations. I seek to remove any redundancies' by finding and highlighting repeated phrases so I can rework the information.

Here are the steps I have taken thus far (establish Developer tab on word document):

  1. Make a copy of the original word document

And SAVE AS a, “Word Macro-Enabled Document”

Click Home tab

Click File

Click Options

On Word Options pop up

Click Customize ribbon

Select Developer on left section and add to right section, click ok

  1. On the Developer Tab…

Click Visual Basic

Click Insert

Click Module

Then Paste the copied Macro code …

Save, close, & click at the beginning of the document.

  1. Go to the VIEW tab

Click the Macros and View Macros

Click view Macros and RUN… give it time to do its thing…

PROBLEM:

Either I am not setting up the use of the MACROs function correctly - OR - I have an erroneous macro code.

v/r,

dave
