Linking data from an Excel file to a Visio file using SharePoint?

I am trying to use the 'Link Data' feature in Visio to link to an Excel spreadsheet located in SharePoint. Currently it is accessing the file through my OneDrive which means that when others with access to the SharePoint open the Visio file, the data linking fails. Does anyone know how to link directly to the SharePoint rather than through a OneDrive? It doesn't seem to let me paste the URL as the file path.
