HI

I have Windows 10 on my system and I want to span a program(display) on 6 monitors.

I have 2 graphic cards (GT-710) and it works fine on all 6 monitors(ASUS) in extend mode, but when I want to set it on span mode, it just recognizes only one graphic card and spans only the monitors connected to that card, for example, only 4 monitors.

Is there a way that I can span all 6 monitors without buying a new graphics card with 6 outputs?

would you please help me?

Based on the information provided, spanning a program across 6 monitors using two GT-710 graphics cards in Windows 10 presents some challenges. Here's an analysis of your situation and potential solutions:

    1. GT-710 Limitations: The GeForce GT 710 graphics card typically supports up to three displays. With two GT-710 cards, you should theoretically be able to run six monitors in extended mode, which you've confirmed is working.
    2. NVIDIA Surround: NVIDIA's Surround technology, which allows spanning across multiple displays, is designed to work with a single graphics card. This explains why only the monitors connected to one card are recognized in span mode.
    3. Windows 10 Limitations: Windows 10 doesn't natively support horizontal spanning across multiple monitors in the way you're describing. The ability to use multiple monitors as one large display is typically handled by the graphics hardware and drivers.
    4. Potential Solutions: a) Third-party Software: Consider using third-party software designed for multi-monitor management. Tools like DisplayFusion or UltraMon might offer the functionality you need. b) Custom Scripts: You could explore custom scripting solutions. For example, there's an AutoIt script mentioned in a similar case that might help achieve what you're looking for. c) Alternative Hardware Setup: If possible, consider using a single more powerful graphics card that supports six outputs. This would allow you to use NVIDIA Surround across all six monitors. d) Check BIOS and Driver Settings: Ensure both graphics cards are properly recognized in your system's BIOS and that you have the latest drivers installed. Sometimes, updating or reinstalling drivers can resolve multi-monitor issues.
    5. Limitations to Consider:
    • The GT-710 is an entry-level card, and running demanding applications across six monitors might strain its capabilities.
    • Mixing outputs (HDMI, DVI, VGA) on the GT-710 can sometimes cause issues with multi-monitor setups.

In conclusion, while it's challenging to span across all six monitors with your current setup, exploring third-party software solutions or custom scripts might be your best option without changing hardware. If these don't work, upgrading to a single more powerful graphics card with six outputs would be the most straightforward solution for achieving the span mode across all monitors.
