Microsoft Purview - To create data assets using API

Hi Support,

I'd like to know if we can create any entity via REST API in Microsoft Purview and the data asset is not on the supported data source list. (i.e on-perm files, on-perm SSIS packages, etc.)

I have a use case with my Banking client which they have [Paper files] loaded to a [Lending Application], then loading to [Data Warehouse] using on-Perm SSIS packages.

We have Self-Hosted Integration Runtime (SHIR) ready. Wonder if there is any way we could scanned in OR manually create these relevant data assets and processes in Purview and presented as a Lineage.
