Hi,

we have a asdk to do restore tests on. But when trying that we get the error:

"

'The backup major stamp version and the deployment major stamp version differ. At C:\CloudDeployment\Setup\RestoreDeploymentParametersHelper.psm1:81 char:17 + ... throw 'The backup major stamp version and the deployment ... + ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ + CategoryInfo : OperationStopped: (The backup majo...version differ.:String) [], RuntimeException + FullyQualifiedErrorId : The backup major stamp version and the deployment major stamp version differ.' 'WARNING: Backup major stamp version: 2311, Deployment major stamp version: 2306'

"

If i understand it correctly asdk is not being updated to 2311. Is there any way we can do restore tests on our stamps if asdk is not going to be updated to 2311?

This is something we want to do to comply with iso27001 and internal policies.

I reached out to the service team but seems that this will not be supported.

We will not be releasing newer versions of the ASDK for Azure Stack Hub.From: ASDK Release Notes - Azure Stack Development Kit (ASDK) | Microsoft Learn

     Important

Starting with Azure Stack Hub 2311, we are not releasing new ASDK versions. This decision is due to modifications to internal services that would lead to substantial complexity for the ASDK. The currently released ASDK version remains suitable for operational, testing, or training purposes, including for the Azure Stack Hub Foundation Core scripts used for Azure-Stack-Hub-Foundation-Core.
