Having the same error message using MS Edge Browser, " General exception " unable to show/load files/folders.
Also, cannot log into MS OneDrive Personal account using OneDrive Desktop App,

It's been 4+ hours thus far. It came back briefly, long enough to sync subfolders to my hard drive that haven't been sync'd since April. This is happening, at least the outage, with frightening regularity.

Same here, unable to access for the last 2 hrs, did everything I can uninstalled, reinstalled and restarted and reconnected. Wouldn't even login to the OneDrive app in Mac

Same issue. I swear ever time I NEED to log into my OneDrive, it becomes unavailable. I tried to cancel my subscription because this happens so often, and what do you know.... It says "Unable to retrieve subscriptions". How convenient for you, Microsoft.
