Hi,

Can someone please confirm how Performance Diagnostics is charged for each server after we deploy or enable the feature?

Is this tool free, or is there a charge for each instance of running it?

Additionally, what are the minimum costs I should be aware of, and what are the best practices for configuring Performance Diagnostics?

Thank you.

    Hello

Performance Diagnostics is a feature that can be enabled for servers, and its pricing can vary depending on several factors such as the number of servers, the amount of data processed, and the specific services used. While I couldn't find the exact pricing details for Performance Diagnostics, I can provide some general guidance on Azure services pricing and best practices for cost optimization:

Azure services, including diagnostics tools, typically follow a pay-as-you-go model, where charges are based on usage. This means you only pay for the resources you consume, such as the amount of data processed or the number of diagnostics runs performed.

For specific pricing information, it's best to refer to the Azure Pricing Overview page or use the Azure Pricing Calculator to estimate costs based on your expected usage.

To minimize costs, consider using Azure's cost optimization tools and resources, which can help you identify and eliminate unnecessary spending.

Best practices for configuring Performance Diagnostics include setting appropriate thresholds for alerts, using autoscaling to adjust resources based on demand, and regularly reviewing performance reports to fine-tune settings.

It's also important to consider the minimum costs associated with running Azure services, such as storage and data transfer fees, which can impact the overall cost of using Performance Diagnostics.

For detailed pricing and to ensure you're aware of the minimum costs and best practices for configuring Performance Diagnostics, I recommend checking the Azure Pricing Overview and using the Azure Pricing Calculator.

    Hi everyone,

I'm still unable to determine the actual running cost.

Can anyone share your costing screenshot & provide me the running cost for one server, including 24x7 continuous diagnostics and monitoring?

    Thank you
