I have an RDS server in Azure it is in an Entra domain called Company.local I have printers in the warehouse that it needs to print to. I can ping the printer, the powershell test-netconnection <server> -port 9100 works correctly the queue looks right, but when I send a test page it says printing the spooler says it was sending to the printer but then nothing goes to printer and the queue shows an error.

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

To further troubleshoot this issue, please kindly try below steps:

1.Check if the RDS server has the necessary permissions to access the printer, otherwise it can fail when printing.

2.Reproduce the issue and capture the process in a network trace by network monitor or wireshark. Check the traffic flow and see if there's anything wrong with the TCP connection.

3.Make sure the printer driver is up to date.

4.Check the printer queue and see if there's any error inside.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.

    Best regards,

    Jill Zhou
