I keep getting a message on my Windows 11 PC: E drive almost full. What can I do to fix this? I have a lot of room available on my hard drive.

If you find large files or folders that you don’t need to keep on the E: drive, consider moving them to another drive with more available space.

Delete files that you no longer need from the E: drive.

If you frequently run out of space, consider using an external hard drive or USB drive to store large files that don’t need to be on your E: drive.

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

You can try below steps to get it resolved:

    1. Run Win + E to open file explorer. Right-click the E drive and select Properties -> click Disk Cleanup, select the files you want to delete from your computer and click OK.
    2. E drive is full maybe because the file is deleted but still in the recycle bin, please try to empty recycle bin and check if it's resolved.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.

    Best regards,

    Jill Zhou
