Understanding OneDrive files sync boundaries

I'm seeking clarification on the file syncing feature associated with the Microsoft account provided by my company for SharePoint and app access. If I enable file syncing, will my private files be accessible to the company, or does OneDrive only sync files that I explicitly upload, share, or download? And how I can see which files company has access to.As a Mac user, I'd appreciate insight into how this feature works.

Hi,

With a OneDrive for Business account (with the company domain like @fakecompany.onmicrosoft.com), the global admin of the company (your old tenant) could check your files anytime with Microsoft365 admin center. If the boss and the admins are not in the same tenant of yours, they will not have the permission to access your OneDrive for Business.
